Stepping into 2026: When Technology Needs a Soul

New Year – between learning algorithms and a remembering heart. What have we learned in 2025, and what are we carrying forward? 🎇🧠❤️

The year now ending has brought many new followers and collaborators to our shared space – MilovanInnovation. Together we have journeyed through this exciting, and at times challenging year, seeking knowledge where science, ethics, and humanity intersect.

The Technological Wave: AGI as a Silent Storm, Not a Thunderclap 🌊🤖

The year 2025 brought new breakthroughs in artificial intelligence, quantum computing, and electric mobility.
We found ourselves in a world where LLM models are becoming unimaginable collaborators – yet where a great fear persists: that AGI (Artificial General Intelligence) will not arrive as an explosion, but as a silent infiltration.

That “seven-league leap” we might recognize did not happen. Instead, we received small improvements, adaptations, upgrades every day.
And therein lies the essence: AGI will not come with a fanfare; one morning we will wake up and realize it is already here.
Our hope? That this realization will not come with the discovery that we have become obsolete – but that we have become something more together with the machine.

The Quantum World: Cold Devices and Warm Possibilities ❄️⚛️

Quantum computers are still not standing in our living rooms. They operate at temperatures close to absolute zero, in isolated worlds of glass and metal.
But conceptual breakthroughs – like the discovery of Majorana fermions – have opened doors to computing and simulations that, until yesterday, existed only on the pages of science fiction.

This is not the year of a quantum revolution in every home – but it is the year we understood how close the future is, a future where problems like climate, disease, and energy will be solved at the atomic level.

EVs, Drones, and a Tesla That Did Not Dream of War 🔋🚁⚡

Electric vehicles received the solid-state batteries we had long awaited. Drones, unfortunately, received a war college – evolving faster than anyone predicted, becoming not just tools but symbols of a dark capability.

The irony is evident: Tesla dreamed of free energy and world peace, and we live in a world where technology is used for both connection and destruction.
This tells us a hard truth: technology without a moral compass leads into an abyss.

A Personal Story: Mici, the Parrot Who Taught Us About the Priceless 🦜💔

Amidst all these grand narratives, our personal story of little Mici was a painful and poignant reminder.
The life of that small creature was priceless, fragile, and irreplaceable.
Mici reminded us that science, however advanced, cannot formulate love, grief, or the wonder of a single living being’s existence.

What We Carry into 2026: Science with a Soul 🧭✨

Therefore, as we step into the new year, we wish to carry both worlds forward:

  • The world of algorithms that leads us to a more efficient, faster, smarter future.
  • The world of the heart that reminds us of the value of life – our human life, but also all other lives that make up our biosphere and noosphere.

We wish you a Happy New Year 2026.
A year of progress that does not forget people, of broadening horizons that includes empathy, and of answers that do not extinguish questions.

Take care of yourselves, all the people and beings you love. And preserve what is human within you – that which science has not yet reduced to formulas, and perhaps never will.

Thank you for being part of our community.
May the new year bring you light, understanding, and the wonders that make us human. 🌟
